PROACTIVE ALLIANCE THerapy & Wellness
A personalized, holistic way to healthy with innovative wellness concepts.
About Us
Since 2014, Dr. Jacob Hamrick, PT, DPT has been providing exceptional physical therapy and wellness services to you and your family. But his vision for 2020 involved reducing time in the conventional model with the goal to offer holistic, private-pay physical therapy and wellness services.
Jacob received his Bachelor of Science from Murray State University. During his sophomore year he decided to switch from Pre-Med to Exercise Science and Wellness. He was shocked that Pre-Med did not require anatomy, physiology, or other classes that intensively studied the human body and movement science. His goals were to learn how to naturally improve the health of the system, not prescribe drugs.
Jacob went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University. He was goal-oriented to learn what he could to help others beat pain, fix movement, and best improve the human experience.
The education is ongoing...

Dr Jacob, PT treats all ages - this is for the young and aged!

At Proactive Alliance Therapy and Wellness we utilize holistic and function-based physical therapy and wellness services to HELP YOU improve the human condition and be the best you can be! We strive to discern the true CAUSE of dysfunction versus just chasing the symptom. After symptom resolution we use health and wellness services to maximize your potential and then preventative services to keep you moving well.
For us, it's crucial to stay fully patient-centered and focused so that is why we have chosen to be self-pay; this way, we provide the best-possible, high-quality therapy to all of our patients!
Patients often have dynamic, changing problems/conditions or even goals which will not be covered by traditional reimbursement plans. We are choosing not to work with insurance to alleviate the constricting regulations that often burden a provider. These guidelines often hinder their ability to fully and consistently treat however necessary for your specific needs. We believe that you and your family deserve the best possible care and are proud to provide a proactive system un-encumbered by bureacrats. We are happy and excited to offer you a radically different approach to therapy and wellness that medical freedom provides.

Cornerstones of Proactive Alliance TW:

  1. Educate the client - the more you know means the better you understand your body and can make informed decisions.
  2. Listen to the client - I will learn from you. You know your body better than I (or other providers) ever will.
  3. Self-Meditate (NOT medicate) - It is not enough to move and exercise. You must be able to FEEL the difference.
  4. Pain is a symptom, but can also be a problem. It can be more complicated than we give it credit so we will consider many variables that may be contributing. It spreads via compensations in the body thereby causing other pains.
  5. We do not accept insurance so the session will only be influenced by what you want to bring to the session. We will keep an open mind with treatment and consider all possible causes of your symptoms and concerns.
  6. We will focus on CAUSE and not symptom.
  7. You will be satisfied with the care provided or you get a refund :) I am held accountable for the care I provide.

Our values

Having strong values is extremely important to me but it's even more important to promote them and having a growing number of people live by them:
  • LOVE, RESPECT, and SERVE others to the best of my ability!
  • Providing consistently ethical care
  • Believe in and have confidence that your situation will improve
  • Freedom of practice - my practice will be dictated by your request and outcome, not insurance or company policy
  • Pursue the goal and celebrate excellent outcomes
  • HIPPA compliant email and follow up communication
And do it all with a smile on your face!
